How to Participate in the UCAIug 2017 61850 IOP in New Orleans!

  • IOP Testing: October 15-19, 2017

 

The UCA International Users Group is hosting an interoperability test for 61850 devices in the United States for the first time. This event aims to demonstrate device interoperability and address potential issues between devices. It is an excellent opportunity for North American utilities to observe and learn firsthand about 61850 devices’ performance and interoperability.

Vendor Category

This group includes companies providing 61850 devices or tools. Vendors will participate actively in testing. Prices are based on attendees staying at the IOP hotel.

Additional Attendees $1,000 $1,350

Register for rooms at the New Orleans Downtown Marriott at the Convention Center. Setup will occur on October 14th.

Witness Category

This group includes people from end-user organizations (e.g., utilities). Witnesses will monitor and record test results. Prices are based on attendees staying at the IOP hotel.

Single Witness Fee $1,000 $1,350

Plan to attend a meeting on October 14th at the hotel. Details will be provided later.

Training Boot Camp

The two-day Boot Camp (October 13-14, 2017) is for individuals interested in learning more about 61850. It is ideal for prospective witnesses unfamiliar with 61850 or those who want to deepen their knowledge.

Registration Steps

  1. Register for your hotel stay.
  2. Select your registration option from the shopping cart below.
  3. Indicate if you are staying at the Event Hotel.
    • Note: If not, and the UCAIug room target is unmet, you will be invoiced $1,000 per attendee.
  4. Select your corporate participation option (if applicable). One attendee is included in the corporate participation fee.
  5. Select the number of additional attendees from the cart add-ons.
  6. Send the list of attendees to kay@ucaiug.org and herb@sisconet.com.
  7. Receive an invoice via email with payment instructions.
