John Moseley is the Principal Engineer for Network Model Architecture and Integration at the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT). He is responsible for ERCOT CIM model, network model data interfaces, and integration of company business processes as associated to the gathering, validation, testing, and use of data as related to the Network Model. He has been with ERCOT for the past 14 years.
John Moseley served as the Business and Technical lead for the development of ERCOT’s Network Model Management System (NMMS) as part of the ERCOT nodal market redesign becoming operational in 2009. He recently completed an upgrade to the NMMS that included a full change of the technological stack and a redesign of the business process.
John Moseley holds a B.S. in nuclear engineering from Texas A&M University at College Station and a M.S and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a member of IEC TC57 Working Group 13 and a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
